I don't know how to feel about the romantic undertones going on here...

I got bored, these people are boring, it's setup for tension but it's just not there.

Where's the plot? Why has there already been multiple spicey scenes? Also this is generally boring and I don't want to listen anymore

I'm so bored reading this, it's too long and barely any plot. We're not even getting any Reno stuff that's all glossed over it's just them in their heads not talking this is painful I'm done.

I got bored, and the whole running away from him was just stupid and annoying I'm not reading more of this

There's a whole long section of one dude continuously asking the woman out and not taking no for an answer and he's supposed to be the love interest for the other woman? 🤢🤢🤢 And the other woman has a framed photo of the guy she likes at her place and no ick I'm done

Author's note promises complicated plot and slow burn. Yet there's been so many spicey scenes I've lost count and it's been boring as hell I'm still waiting for this complicated plot I was promoted

Me: Eventually tracks down audiobook (Audible exclusive 🙄) sees it's Ray Porter narrating. Oh DEFINITELY sold!

Considering I've put this down 3 separate times now to read something else it's time to give up. I'd been hating reading already mostly because I wanted to know how the book was going to get around the MMC being MARRIED but I read spoilers so we can end this boring torture now. Also telling this story in past/present but not having chapter indicators is a choice

Was chatting with someone about Ali & Love on the Brain and then I could no longer focus on the book I was reading so here we are 😅

It's fine maybe another time would have enjoyed more but I'm just not interested in this journey and then fall in love with an imaginary man conjured from your inner mind. Actually this might be too far for me anytime but maybe would have finished this still another time

I was driving in an area without reception and none of the audiobooks I haven't listened to yet were downloaded on my phone so it felt like a sign I should listen to this again 😅

I think I'm DNF'ing. This book has no business being this long. They're currently just sitting around smoking and I just cannot be bothered to spend this many hours with this.
