I don’t know if it’s the translation or the book itself, but I’ve been trying to finish it since sept 2025 and this is the fourth and final time I am gritting my teeth and aiming to finish this today come hell or high water. All in all, I’ve read better ones, especially amongst the genre.

There is a bury your gays trope in this series, so I'm not sure I'll ever finish this book (which is written very interestingly). Not happy.

Ahhhhh, the threesome scene. Why does he put public sex everywhere? In almost an harsh manner? I loved the book until now (please note it's quite fucked up, #wild) but the stripper scene! Get me out of here!

I absolutely didn't see it coming and yet it's the perfect contrasts with good people. (Hint: POCs are the good people here, the whites are fucking evil)

In order: biracial family, a step mother that is not evil, just chronically ill, a society that accepts LGBTAQ marriages/relationships, a family falling of hard times and yet being self resilient and learning how to handle and just loving each other and making do - I love this.

Sigh. It's a back and forth of not exciting plot twists. I'm all for the morally grey - but the villains are getting on my beverage, and Hort needs a counsellor because he deserves more. Might finish it, might not.

One moment I get the glimpse of a cool hunter story and the next is the same introspective feels fest I used to read in my fanfictions six years ago.

This book is a gift from heaven and I'm team Radu all the way (even though I completely understand Lada. Hell. I'm torn. The only one I don't care for is Mehmed, lmao)

The writing is jerky and messy and the characters motivations or actions often don't make very much sense - it's but worth 5$ but it's still a cool story I suppose.

The writing is purplish and not too clear its metaphors or onomatopoeias BUT. The story seems cool so far. I hope I won't have reason to return this book, because reading this feels like watching the bootlegged version of the coolest movie ever.

OH MY GOD. This series. I'm 10000% in love. No seriously, this is delightful fanfiction if I've ever read any and THE POLITICAL PLOTS! The mastery of fitting everything neatly! The angst!!! William and Robert are dicks. The four stars are growing up and apart at an alarming rate and I LOVE IT.

This book is... Something else. Published historical fanfiction. I'm in love.
