At 41% through this book, something about the plot should be interesting by now, yet I'm just very bored. I don't think this genre is for me....

I've gotten frustrated with this book...

I'm struggling with this book. On one hand, it has elements that I like (a young captain coming into her own; complex economic/political situations; a Sci-Fi backdrop. But on the other hand it can be pedantic about details that don't seem important at all, and elements that seem like they should be important are glossed over. I'm determined to finish it at this point though...

Keystone Cops, and but not in an entertaining way

6 chapters of repetitive and boring plot so far... Might not continue

This was included with another book & I just am not interested. Read the first chapter, but nothing really compelled me to read further

Good grief, I can't find the words for how revolting this book is or what the author, editor,or publishers were thinking with this plot .

Read through chapter 24. Struggling to finish this. Borrowed the 3-book omnibus (books 1-3), but I won't be continuing beyond book 1, so will only rate the first installment. I can't see this as more than a 1.5 star book.

It's obvious that the author is an American trying to write 1800s British dialog. The plot is silly, but not in a fun way. The characters have no depth. Will probably DNF
