there are silly, cute stories,the kind you read without expecting much, just for the comfort and joy they bring. unfortunately, that’s not the case with this book. I found it cringe and the writing terrible. I’m pregnant and my hormones are running high, so I think I should give up on reading these recently published romances, they just keep getting worse, but it’s the writing that really shocks me with how bad it is

this book has been on my bookshelf for a few years, and I picked it up completely randomly and I'm loving it!! It feels like a breath of fresh air and I love this author's writing, it's very captivating eheh

I wasn't expecting much from this book, but it's incredibly lovely!!
and I rarely read books from this century lol because they don't have that special something that usually makes them unique, at least for me ;-;
thankfully, this one made me realize that there are still hidden gems to come out there ♡

i totally understand dinah's reasons for rejecting seth's marriage proposal, even so, I can't help but want them together, they would be an adorable couple!
the reading is totally addictive at this point...

i'm enjoying this one eheh, I really liked seth and arthur, they're my favorite characters so far.
dinah's kindness made me genuinely happy, I hope she appears more often throughout the story!
idk about hetty yet, but i think she have more chemistry with arthur, but let's see how it goes...

christine's feelings for érik are very interesting... meanwhile, I feel sorry for raol now lol

i thought there would be more romantic scenes, but so far it's more of an investigation... i'm not a fan, but despite that, I'm enjoying it quite a bit!
and raol is tragically desperate for christine.....

raoul is even more egocentric in the book ._.

oh deer, the guy is very, very cute, i don't see many of them in books, it's rare, you know?

so, this is one of those books that we always see in used bookstores and are tempted to buy, and I finally did lol
I'm enjoying the writing and the characters and everything else, however, I see some problematic comments in the book that would cause problems nowadays, anyway, I think I'll have fun reading this until I find my next read xD

what a delightful read! all the characters are charming and unique... rosamunde's books always make me so happy ^-^
