the best way to read didion is to skip over the boring essays that require way too much context to be understood fully sorry not sorry. then it actually becomes quite pleasant.

i’m not sure tbh, she makes these grand generalisations that just feel soo unrelatable at times. plus the mix between personal experiences + making broader claims just falls flat for me. i’ll keep reading but just casually
