for anyone wondering i am in fact reading in publication order. it might have to do how my libby loans are going back but we'll talk about that another day

I feel like certain character act younger than they are. Other feel much more adult. But it takes me out every time. It is super fun though.

i really liked it up until like 10% ago

how is this going to be solved?

i am very much loving this. except for the 2 new characters that were just added.

they thought jacob elordi would be a good fit for this role. hahahhaha

so this is not what i wanted

if the twist is what i think it is it'll be a low 2

i like my slasher much filled with so much more carnage. this feels like a mystery (not even a thriller) but not a good one. i'll be shocked if it's a 3

i am pleasantly surprised, curious to see how it turns into a slasher

i have low expectations for this one. anything about a movie gone wrong i've hated (expect for horror movie) so we'll see.

i know i've read this before but theres going to be a twist with that, right?

not sure if it'll be a 5, but a high 4 for sure

still has amazing as i remembered. and just as intoxicating

i take back my comment about the brutality and how quick the kills are. this is not ya

finally we have gotten to the slasher part (i hope)

so far the deaths are super quick, very gory, but super quick

the prologue is great. still getting used to the rest lol

so many of these characters are insufferable when not in there pov. even if the mystery is great this can't be more than a 3.75

really enjoy the use of different art styles to convey the story

i hate the mc lol which feels wrong because they are so young

i forgot how much of this they spend apart. also i can't stand charlie mom. I thought maybe she wasn't as bad as I remembered. I was very wrong (ugh)

i like the fact its gender bent. normally its the guy who would be supernatural so thats fun and different. (its no fallen)

reminds me a bit of dare me (the show) outside of the whole devil worship thing lols

i'm not loving it anymore. def not less than a 4 but might need to take a longer break between books for the next one

donut doesn't have a lot to do in the first half. i wonder what dinniman has planned.
