It took almost this much of the book for it to really pick up momentum and keep me interested. I don't know if that is my own personal reading habit or or if these books simply take a while to draw me in. I really wasn't all that excited to read more for the whole first part, but now I am.

There are so many twists and turns that I've stopped trying to predict what is going to happen next. The lore is coming into clearer focus too, and I enjoy learning about the history of this world!

It really does take the first few chapters to settle into the rhythm of it, but now that I'm in I'm enjoying it! I'm definitely a fan of the Arya, Tyrion, and Jon chapters.
