Ordinary life isn’t simply ordinary. In the grand scheme of things God has made our ordinary life extraordinary because of the consistency and stability of the work that is done in it. Mundane is not boring, it is life giving as it is mimicry of our heartbeat thudding at a pace, the speed of life, from rapid spurts to rhythmic thuds, life is exciting. We just have to see how God has created it that way.

Actually pretty hard to read

Eye opener!

I’m listening on audiobook and I have about 2hrs and 45 minutes left. This book is RAW. Yet the transparency of her walk with Christ reminds us that we don’t speak enough to what internally is happening when we choose Jesus. That’s it’s the best decision we’ve made and the most challenging. So I’m enjoying it

Honestly, I never realized apologetics is more than defense. It’s truly about the heart of the person and winning their soul, not an argument.

I love the set up of Preston describing his background all the way up until he meets Jesus. It was such a beautiful retelling that makes you reflective of even your own. It impressed upon me the overarching power of God that through Jesus our salvation is secure and has been in the making since the beginning of time.

So good! Necessary and hard truths about life that leave you wanting more of Jesus and less to distract you from Him

Gut wrenching at this point but what a story of redemption in Jesus. Honestly so beautifully written and you can feel the love of Christ coming off the page from the stories at this point .

Love it so far. The dialogue and memories between Craig and Walker are so lifting and raw and vulnerable. You can tell these men walked a hard life, learned from it, and continue to walk in faith in Jesus. It’s truly inspiring.
