A delightful read especially if you are a Jane Austen fan. Ayesha at Last is a modern day version of Pride and Prejudice with a little twist. The main characters are Moslems residing in Canada. The

Beginning with the interview with E.B. White for a job at the New Yorker magazine hooked me immediately. The next few chapters were very disappointing until the one dealing with her friendship with Muriel Sparks, the author of The Prime of Miss Jean Brody.

A very difficult emotional read. Will set aside for another time to read about a time period that impact many of our lives as young adults in the 1960s and 1970s.

Truly enjoying this book. It is literature at its best -- the flow of words so much like what Brendan Kane observes aboard the Arctic-bound Nathex --the drifting, gliding and meandering of floes, bergs and icebergs.

This is a book that my book group will be discussing next week. The book reminds me of the rash of fires that occurred in and around Jefferson, NH in the late 1980s.

This book was one of the selections for our library book group to read. I was designated to lead the discussion since I enjoy knitting. Please do not let some of the reviews discourage you from reading it. The group as a whole gave it a thumbs up. One word to describe it is --- Pensive.

It is starting to become interesting; however, I am still debating if it is a book I would normally want to read. My friend loaned it to me after I had returned from PEI, an area I absolutely fell in love with. As for the book, only time will tell.

A pensive thought expressed by Nabi --"They say, Find a purpose in your life and live it. But, sometimes, it is only after you have lived that you recognize your life had a purpose, and likely one you never had in mind."
WOW!
