This love triangle is so distracting! The first book was so much better.

This book proves I've missed Katy Regnery's writing. I was sucked into this story immediately. There's such a tenderness in which she writes her characters and their budding romances. I'm loving these characters already and if I didn't have to wake up early, I'd keep reading.

So, yeah, Ben is still creepy. Maybe the creepiest guy in the book so far.

Ugh. Stacey is so annoying. Just a whiney, crying, complaining, ingrate. I thought by now she would have started making some progress. But she treats Pashov so unlovingly, it's shocking. They've been together for two years, and at the 1st sign of inconvenience (his head injury from almost dying) she becomes the worst wife ever. I'm skimming from here on out.

Maddy is such a jerk.

Still not a fan of Maddy. What is her problem? How can she possibly act like the victim when she was the one who left and didn't communicate? Ugh.

Well, I was nervous about this book going in. And so far, I'm not Team Maddy. This girl has A LOT of explaining to do. Not sure if she'll be Jason-worthy. Will have to see...

Seriously? This story may have just jumped the shark, lol.

I wish there were some likable characters in this story, besides 11 year old Spencer.

Really enjoying this one!

I've survived Part One of this book. Sadly, I'm not really enjoying it. But it's my book club's pick of the month, so I'm going to persevere.

This story is driving me nuts. I'm going to try to stick it out until the end, but sadly I am not enjoying it.

What's her dad's problem? Seriously, what is wrong with all these people?

Finally found a decent character in this town. I do not like this town or its people. It's really turning me off the story. Let's see if these characters can improve my impression of them.

Emily's mom is driving me nuts, and we've hardly seen her. I can't wait until the whole backstory is revealed!

Oh Ian, really? I'm disappointed.

I can tell the length of this book is going to drive me nuts. I can't imagine any reason it has to be over 500 pages long. But the main characters are really sweet, so I'm already invested in them. It just might take me a while to finish.

Really liked Leo and Serena's story. Super sweet. Looking forward to Felicity and Zane next!
