I get irrationally annoyed by these little asides Maas inserts to try to remind us that Feyre is a painter and sees the world as scenes for potential paintings. Like, Feyre barely painted anything in the last book and nothing in this one. It’s not relevant in the middle of a scene about a war council. Let’s just accept that’s not the cornerstone of her character you wanted it to be and move on.
