I am actually throughout enjoying this, but this book requires a lot of brain power and after watching Rivals I am in the mood for a sports romance. That being said, I am going to pause for now to get out of the slumpy feelings I have because I can tell that I am about to enter the meat of this book

Sooooo, I’m a little bored. The romance pacing is all over the place, and I feel like the plot is so far in the back. This book would be sooo much better with dual pov for the actual plot alone. I’m going to switch gears and then decide if this is a DNF or push through… right now it’s feeling like a 3 star when initially it felt like a five star

Should I finish this? I’m 75% through, and the pacing is killing me. Idk if I’m in a slump or genuinely not jiving with this book. :/

I am not vibing with this. I thought they were going to get married in the first few chapters… this isn’t it because she is literally under age. He is out here trying to be respectful, kinda, but it’s still sleeping around with blonde women who sorta resemble seraphina. I just don’t think I can do it, so I think this is a DNF.

How is there still over a 100 pages left… this book started off so strong, but it’s snowballing down hill😭
