I have no idea why it feels like pulling teeth to finish this book! It’s not bad and everyone loves it! Ughhhhhh

Does anyone else get grossed out how this author has them talk dirty so openly in front of their brother/sister or father? Like I’m sorry but that just seems gross???? I don’t want to have my opposite sex family member hear that? Might just be me but this author does it wayyyyy too often for my taste.

“Baseball Daddy” is not doing it for me……

I can’t wait for her old friends to try and come crawling back when they realize who she is going to end up with and she says NOPE. (She better say no)

I’m just so curious to see what Anders role is!!! This book had had fantastic writing but I do wish the pace was a little faster in terms of us receiving information of what’s happening.

This book is so well written and I’m really enjoying it!

I’m trying to just accept this for what it is and go with the vibe.

First half I was so locked in. This second half is so boring because all they’re doing is having sex. Like zero planning for the WAR they are IN.

Finally more POVs!! Adara was not interesting enough to have the last 2 books in only her pov.

I’m getting bored. I’m so over Adara being so wishy-washy. “I hate him. He’s my mate. I’m not his mate I don’t care what he says. I can’t stop thinking about him. I want to leave. I want to sleep in his room while he’s gone.” Like girl we are exhausted. That’s all this book has been. I should have finished it in 2 days with how short it is but nope.

I wish I was loving the romance portion more but I don’t know if it just moved too fast or the love interests just aren’t gripping me?

We all called that twist right? I don’t imagine it’s the last one but I’ve been saying it from the beginning!

Honestly I’m hating this. It’s giving me anxiety and I hate cheaters. It’s putting me in a bad mood. I’m just finishing on audio to see what the twist is.

The audiobook is much better but I honestly don’t like when both MC’s are just terrible people? There is nothing to root for and basically all you’re waiting for is what’s going to happen. You’re not connected to the story at all.

Not obsessed so far but maybe it’s because I haven’t read a mystery in a while.

I’m excited for something completely different to read. 👀

The concept of these books are sooooo good but the writing is just too repetitive. “I want to stay here but I really shouldn’t. This place is feeling like home but it can’t. Something is different with Jud but we’re friends. I can’t leave Salem alone!” I’ve read these lines over and over and OVER. Probably could take 100 pages out of the book.

They made Sabrina the dumbest character I’ve ever seen when she could have been fantastic. Even when her dad is begging her to come home after she fucked up everything possible she still tries to act all tough when in reality she’s not. Her dad bails her out. This book is so dumb. Do yourself a favor and stop at 4 to preserve the series.

Ready for this one to be over. Sophie Lark ruined these characters sadly.

I’m so bored. 🥲 I want to DNF but I’ve loved this series so much!!! I hate that they didn’t even end it at Kingmakers!! It would have been so much cooler if she was like working in stuff for Adrik there and then joined him after!

Madison Beer is the best fan cast for Sabrina and no one can convince me otherwise.

A tiny bit bored which sucks because I love the 2 characters! I just miss the old formula at Kingmakers. Also they feel like they’re cosplaying as big bad adults when Sabrina is only 20 and that’s a little bit cringey for me. 🙈

The Ivan scenes are 1) grossing me out and 2) so boring and I could not care less.

I’ve loved this world so much; however, I know this book is going to be a hard read. I just don’t really care about the older mafia generation that much and this will have a lot to do with that.

Just a note: I love how most all these girls are so tall lol. It’s refreshing not to see so many female characters be described as so teeny tiny you could fit them in your pocket.

Think he forgave the mom a little too quick in my personal opinion.

This is the spiciest book by far. I’m loving this series!! It probably going to put me in the biggest slump again when it ends. :(

Immediately know who the spy is because in the picture at the beginning they didn’t even try to hide that the outline exactly matches his portrait 😂
