So, mixed review. The overall horror story and mystery is excellent! The graphic sexual content takes away from the story. The author could have left something to the imagination. There are parts of the book that read like porn and I don’t understand why the author had to include all the descriptions of the main character engaging in intimate moments.

The overall storyline is really entertaining. It is creepy. However, the explicit sex scenes are too much and read like porn. As i read, i feel like the author could intertwine the taboo relationship without all the graphic elements. It takes away from the mystery and horror of the story.

First thing to note is that the story line is sexuality graphic however the taboo aspect appears to coincide with the mysterious nature of the story and setting. Descriptions of settings brings readers into the novel’s atmosphere.

Absolutely charming book! Modern story with a funny main character and twist and turns with every chapter!

Enjoying this book, I am a little confused. The timeline changes from past president and it takes a little bit of keeping up with to figure out where in the timeline the story is.

So I am fascinated by the fact that I don’t know who the actual murderer is. The further along I read the harder the book is to put down because I have more and more questions.

The lingering question of why?
