Really enjoying this so far. There is clearly a monumental amount of research behind this story and it makes it all the more visceral and enjoyable to read.

Started in 2020 and made it through about half of Book 1 by the end of the year. Started over this past Summer and finished Book 1. Now I'm picking up where I left off there and going to try marking progress as I finish each book.

Finally starting this up again after a 3 year forgetfulness streak. Re-reading the first seven chapters, it's a very impressive start!

Only halfway through and I'm already furious.

I made a good chunk of progress and I am determined to finish this book. It's not "Great" but it's at least "All right." I'm holding out hope for a Finale turnaround to Higher Quality.

I'm determined to finish the book. Events and character viewpoints are interesting and thought out, but my biggest complaint so far is that the narrative pacing is all over the place. Monumental moments are frequent and each one is over incredibly quick. No real time to process what's happened, as a reader.

I don't think I've ever done an "Update progress" status for a book before, but my thoughts so far are "Interesting world but not a plot to write home about." However, I plan to make some more progress tonight and see if my opinion changes.
If not, I have other books to read before their due date.
