An addictive night 🌙 read. Don't read this at night or you will mess up your sleep schedule. Once you trawl through the fluff and setup, it becomes hard to put down. I can see now why Joyce Carol Oates has the reputation she has!

This book does have a few twists and turns past page 200, I guess.

I get why this was part of the Oprah book club. Past page 120 or so, it turns into an addictive read!

At around page 100 is when it really starts to pick up! If u can get through the first 100 pages, it becomes a riveting book!
