Re-reading after 5+ years because I find it comforting. Love this book so much. Let's see if my current mindset thinks so.

I should've stayed up all night reading this book, now I regret having to sneak up free time at work to catch a word or two. I love it so much and I'm not even halfway.

Very entertaining. Slow, but entertaining.

At this point and already two stupid decisions were made (killing people) in the name of a protectiveness that has no reason to exist on the first place. Also, what is this forced inner dialogue thing? (As in, if you want to make a MC mentally go off explaining why they "Iike red" you make another say to them "not that you think the sky is red or anything"). Has happened a lot.

Yeah, no. This is not it.

So you're infatuated with the man... yet tell him "it was just a kiss, I'm not a romantic, it's nothing"... And then get offended when he took your hand only for safety measures. Pick a side and be coherent, girl.

Somebody said the hero was inspired by Hozier, so... Here I am, because I'm a simple woman.

I started this book before I went to sleep and I've been awake since 5 a.m. reading it. WHAT DO YOU MEAN I'm on 81% already?

The critique crickets. 4 stars.

I'm going to cry. This is hitting too close to home.

I've not slept because of reading this book, and I'll pay for it at work today, but it's gonna be so worth it. Knew it was 5 stars at the 8% mark and I still do. My book of the year and I'm not even done.

I'm starting to skim past everything that's going on. For some reason I've not felt the tension I should feel in a "jealous mMC wanting an off-limits FMC" book. I'm disappointed.

I mean, I'm not really into real violence but... sometimes, just sometimes...

I feel like this book is trying to cramp many different angsty tropes at the same time with no building nor break between them. I'm at 7% and already had fake marriage and I'm starting forced proximity.

I had to re-read this scene 3 times. Howling. I love it.

Say no more. 5 stars.

This book is a delight. Truly.

I can feel the 5 star rating at this early of a point in the read. He's that gone for her... She's that oblivious.. IT'S THAT GOOD.

I honestly can't stand this diminishing way of answering.

WHY does the female character, EVERY TIME someone says anything about doing something nice with/for her, answers with "I've never had that" or "(insert the fact she had something similar but lesser)"

I.e: "Wanna go get a christmas tree?"
Her: "All I ever had were plastic ones, I'd love that"

I definitely am not feeling this one for some reason...

If this book has 500 pages, again, and 400 of them are about some shenanigans regarding the Kelly family... Whose story should've been laid to rest 4 books and a series ago... And have NOTHING to do with the main characters...I swear... I'll flip.
