wow, and second book with absolutely nothing going on with Rita. Spoiler: there's a man the story switches to who is killing homeless people, believing he is sending them to a better place.

But Rita, the main character, has had a big fat zero .. more watching paint dry. I was hoping for more after waiting out book one for her to finally come around. Disappointed is an understatement.

Action has finally taken place. Rita has finally stumbled on a scene she could use to help her pesky ghost. But will she use her information or hide it? She is terrified.. and has been the entire book but for different reasons...

Hope the paint is dry.

spoiler alert! Like watching paint dry. Rita sees ghosts. Rita ignores ghosts. Ghosts beg Rita. Ghosts get mad at Rita. Rita ignores ghosts. We see Rita looking back on her childhood through adulthood seeing and ignoring ghosts. Her Grandmother urges Rita to always ignore them.

Rita finally encounters a ghost who makes her pay attention. 70% of the book has passed before Rita tries to help.

One thing to note.. all the guys want her back too.. smh. I mean this is unreal in more way than one! lol

wow.. Starla aka Stevie is attracted to every guy in this book! She's ready and willing to hook up with all of them! I keep waiting for hot pants to cool down but.. not looking like it!

wow.. if I weren't 84% in, I'd stop reading. The main character is losing all common sense and grows dumber with every page turn! I absolutely can not stand an idiot main character. I'm literally shaking my head, wondering if it's possible anyone could be so dumb! ugh! Her dogs IQ might be higher!

Not surprisingly, I am very much enjoying this so far! I'm a huge fan of Karens Fever series. I wasn't sure about THAWH, but wow.. should never have doubted. Karen has done it again!

This is my first time reading Meghan Quinn. I started after receiving a signed arc from her during a book bash. The signed arc is How my Neighbor Stole Christmas and I have agreed with my family to read it starting next week.

Having said that let me say, this is not my normal genre. I like a romance but this is literally word porn. If I were ti rate this book I'd say XXX! I find no actual substance in this book.

So far this has been my least favorite Dorina Basarab book. It's reading very slow with little action. At one point I was thinking it was going somewhere but it fizzled.

The last few chapters give or take have been all about Dorina inside her own head. I confess I grew so bored I have now skipped via skimming through these.

I'll be glad to see this book end.

This is a snooze fest that I can barely continue with! At 64% literally nothing has really happened. I expected this book to wrap everything up since there wasn't another one and there were so many good reviews. Were those people paid to review this? UGH! I feel jilted and wish I could get my money back! This is HORRIBLE!

I've just reached chapter 9 and I an on the fence with this one. The concept and ideas behind it seem fresh and intriguing. So I'm not quite sure why I'm not in total love with this one.

I really thought the first book was better. I'm finding this one a much slower, slightly boring read.

Too many side issues/characters in this. What is the point in Mel being upset and will we ever find out why? I sure hope it and the other junk is worth all this book time! *sigh*

So frustrated with this book. The main female Sandy is still fighting the fact she’s a werewolf at over 42% of the book being complete! It’s crazy! Grrrr!!! “I am. No, I’m not!, I am, no.. I’m not!
