Almost finished with the second book and I think its something about the characters that holds me back from really enjoying this. Darrow forgives way too easy and his plot Armour feels surreal. The supporting characters are who I am more interested in at this point.

Ok arguably better than the first. But there's something thats still holding this back.

I feel so compelled that I have to like this 😂 its not bad but its not great. Maybe the next book, or 5 will be better. 💀 I really thought this was going to be a favorite of mine

This might be the book of the year for me.

Why is this writing so....everywhere? Also this "twist" adds little to the story. At 60% so will probably finish but dont see myself continuing to book 2 if it doesn't tie up some of this.
