Aurora is on page 67 of 368 of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (The Tales of Dunk and Egg, #1-3)
Seems like a simpler story telling format than the other ASOFI books, it's very enjoyable so far, a classic coming - of - age. Very promising.

It only took 260 pages for this book to go from insufferable to interesting. Hoping this lasts the next 128...

We're supposed to believe this whole stupid tutu nonsense that the author keeps insisting on? Yeah, ok.

I'm hoping I end up liking this book, but I'm barely partway in and it has so many logical errors already, I'm getting extremely frustrated with it.

Started out very strong, and then somehow Bean suddenly became petulant and whiny. What happened to character consistency?

A good book so far, but they messed up the story of Cain and Abel? I thought a book about science would do a better job on its fact checking =p

Can definitely tell it's a man writing this one, describes the wife as 'angry' when the truth is that she's terrified. I'm sure there's some study on this already....

Too many stereotypes to enjoy. Hate to say this, but Joe Hart should stick to short stories, that's where his talent really shines.

Not bad at all, but come on. If you're going to base your whole book on biological principles, it would be nice if they were even kind of sort of plausible. Are Americans just that scientifically ignorant that authors don't think they need to bother?!

From The Thing mixed with Andromeda Strain, is now Andromeda strain mixed with Tommyknockers. Again, was hoping for a bit more originality

The writing is a lot better when the author sticks with what he knows, military stuff.

I hate to be that person, but I am. The amount of biological energy required to facilitate the changes that happen in this book are just not accounted for. I'm that person who just can't stand many movies and TV shows because the effort put into scientific accuracy was little or zero. Sorry, but this story suffers from the same problem. It bothers me knowing that I would enjoy stories more if I was less educated :/

I really wish I could consistently give better reviews to this series. Unfortunately, it keeps ruining itself with nonsense writing. Where on earth did all the GoPro feeds and satellite live imagery come from for making a live-action film? Oh, no explanation, like usual? Gah.

How many years as a Gardener and yet Toby has trouble thinking of animals as individual, sentient beings? Pathetic.

The 'hero' gropes women against their will? Is ok, he's only doing it because he's immature, so it's no big deal. Awesome.

Great. More crap about stupid Zeb, and endless high school jealousy monologues from Toby. The Crakers' culture and behavior patterns are the only interesting thing at this point so naturally it's not included.

As tedious to read as part one. Ya know, I just do *not* care about stupid Zeb enough for him to be the focus of most of this book. For some reason, I doubt I'm the only one who feels this way

Twenty-five pages in and I'm already majorly annoyed with this book. The Crakers are the most docile, compliant, pleasant people ever, but for the sake of the plot, suddenly they try to rape someone??? Really?! Not only does that go entirely against their nature, it also goes completely against the whole elaborate courtship ritual the author described. A huge part of the ritual was choice. Ugh. Such lazy writing.

Story had picked up, has less of the generic "societies and corporations are evil" generic preachy feel to it and is finally focusing on characters and story a bit. Hope this trend holds =P
