48% through and it's feeling tedious now.

I'm not really reading this book right now. My kindle assumes I am.

Reading this is work and makes me ask myself, where did I get this recommendation? It's a bit like reading Franzen, only worse because the syntax is choppier and there's less punctuation. I fear this 400 page book is going to be more and more depressing, and I'm not sure I'm willing to give it my best effort. On pause for now.

Loved this young adult book. Grief, overcoming loss, strength, poetry, mountains, nature, cookies, humor...so many great aspects of this book.

I'm not sure I can do this book right now. And, I really want to throat punch the main character. Taking a break...

I'm having a hard time with this book and I love Wally Lamb. I currently hate Corby and I'm not sure I can handle the heartbreak. I'm only 15% in and I can feel me straying...

I can already tell this is going to be a good one.

I'm 2 hrs into this book and am wondering if it's going to take 40 years for something to happen. Once again, I wonder where I find book titles to add to my TBR list. Where did I get this title from?

I'm not done, but I can feel a 5 star review coming and I don't even know how to put into words why. This book is mysterious, informative, painful, supernatural, beautiful...I don't know how to explain it!

Paused bc I lost the audio loan and have to wait another 12 weeks or so to get it back. I was loving it though!

Didn't finish before the book was due back.

I had to go back and read the description of this book to 1) Remember why I had it on my TBR and 2) Figure out what the heck I was reading.
I've put it down for now. The first section felt like a novel I was forced to read by a stodgy English teacher. "Read this because others say it's great." I didn't have the energy to get past page 2 of the second section.

At 72%, I became interested and invested. At 93%, a couple tears appeared. At 97%, I cried because a line hit very close to home. At 100%, I appreciated the Acknowledgments. I put Hello, Beautiful down several times and wondered what I was missing; everyone else seemed to rave about it, but I wasn't having the same reaction. However, this was a long-term investment, and I'm glad I finished the book.

I've paused. I feel as though I can see where this is going and I don't like any of it.

Taking a break to read something else. This one got even more depressing and I'm not invested in any of the characters. It may end up being a DNF.

At what point have you read enough where you can say, no? I feel like I'm reading something that is only going to get more depressing...like the author of The Corrections...

One chapter in and I'm aghast. Reminds me of Sythe (which I LOVED) but in a darker, more twisted way.

For what it's worth, I'm very much enjoying this book!

I'm not impressed with any of these characters

My go-to when I’m not reading YA for school. I LOVE this book more every single time I pick it up. However, my heart is breaking a little bit right now.
