Early on Taft meets Pres. Obama, and refers to him as a man. Only later is reference made to his racist prejudices, which he is trying to change. When he meets his black grandson-in-law, he is uncomfortable. Until he sees his granddaughter. This could have sparked a discussion of interracial marriage's history in US (including with Pres), but did not. Disappointed.
