Remembering that this is still early on and we've already gotten where we did, I'm not sure where we're going from here. Especially since I'm expecting several different povs like in the last one. Still another case so far of the male lead being far more interesting. Depending on how this one goes will let me know if I want to read the next one.

I'm just going to have to physically read these, the narrator... I just.. the pauses are way too long, I can hear him smacking his lips and swallowing, and I'm just not a fan of how the whole thing almost feels like it's being read like a porn plot. I'd rather just read it on my own than listen to him try to make it sexy or something. It's really ruining it for me.

Had me in the first half ngl, then at some point names started getting switched up? And things characters "knew" they suddenly didn't seem to know anymore? It started to become really obvious who was going to die due to actions or words so the impact of the death was completely gone atp. Unclear at this very moment if I'll want to attempt to continue but we'll see. There is still a little left from here.
