The first 20% in terms of how the fmc was written was a bit rough, but now things have gotten so much better.

Im not sure if it's the right book wrong time? But it feels like it? I read in the company of witches which I really liked. This book reminds me of the Southern Vampire Hunters Guide which I didn't like. So I'm not sure if that's playing into my feelings on this book. It does feel a tad bit rushed and the actions of the fmc have me a bit perplexed at times.
