So much fun to read Kevin Wilson again. I was smiling as soon as I started reading it.

Moving slowly through Patrick Flanery's book. I thought it would be more CIA or FBI thriller and it's not - enjoying the main character so much that I am not rushing it. I will read other Flanery books after this. It is so good.

Started this book this morning and can't stop sneaking away to read it.. so beautiful & one of those junior books that must be read by all ages. I might even go to bed early tonight to finish it.

Gorgeous way to start a Saturday morning - had to drag myself away to do all of the errands but have just returned to it + a cup of tea, of course. Oh, Laura Childs is a delight.

This is sensational. Place your holds - get on it!

I've just begun this one and am already so happy to see my friends Bertie, Angus and Big Lou again. So much to look forward to..

Savouring this book. I can't say enough about how great Matt Haig is - his novels are in my top ten of all time and this book is perfection.

Hooray! I loved the first two books. We actually purchased them because this series is absolutely perfect. I hope that I continue to love the series with #3.

Positively spiffing. The minute this one arrived @ home I grabbed the teapot and sat down to enjoy it. Such a treat to be with Lady Georgiana again.

I'm enjoying a re-read here for a BINGO square. Perfect for a rainy afternoon. Any book is perfect for a rainy afternoon though, really.

This would make a perfect birthday gift for any cookbook-loving kid. Or family... Or me!

So, this one goes up and down. Some of the chapters are written so well and others I think she might be cooking or watching tv while she writes...

This book is making it hard for me to get anything done today...

Can't stop reading this or wanting to watch Pretty in Pink...

Couldn't pass this one up. Just couldn't.

It's starting slowly but I am not giving up...

So, we continue to be in love with the Penderwicks. Jeanne Birdsall has been so careful with our hearts and made sure that these girls and their lives are all that we needed them to be. Everyone here at our house agrees that this book is simply perfect and I am only half way through and stalling.. I can't finish it because I don't want it to end.

Sharply written stories. I'm falling in love with each one.

It's here. In our house. Sitting upstairs on Alice's bed and I am respecting her wish to read it first. It is very hard to be an adult.

So far this one is okay. My last YA with a male protagonist made me a bit frustrated so I am stepping slowly though this one.

If you don't find yourself wanting to read this book you should have a check up. They go to school in a lighthouse!

Back from a dismal dentist visit - cavities for both girls - and only a visit with Diesel the cat and a celebration of National Library week will cheer me up. I am so thankful for Miranda James. I'll make dinner... eventually.

So good but I am reading it slowly to savour it.
