Forgot to update throughout the busy work week, but finally finished this one! I have to say, I much preferred her debut novel. There’s no doubt the Eve J. Chung is a good writer and has a talent for storytelling, but this book hit very differently from her first book. I believe this book was inspired by her husband’s family, and I wonder if that played a role in how this one was shaped 🤔
