These books are beginning to remind me why I stopped reading the Game of Thrones series. Don’t get too attached to anyone because, they’re most likely, going to die.

Just started this book and I have so many questions already! Why isn't Michael working with the DA's office? his wife was fine, life was good, etc. etc. etc. Now, at the beginning of book 4, he's in private practice (huh?), his wife was in a car accident (when?!!) and dealing with PSTD and living away from her family? What madness is this??? I'll give it a few more chapters and then this may go into my DNF list.
