Really outstanding; the historical aspect is interesting, especially since I’ve been spending a lot of time in Norway, but the meat of this work is the direct and allegorical evolution of its protagonist. This is a great book group book, especially among the faithful.

This series provides excellent insight into their subject books. I’ve read four now and been pleased with all. I would prefer more exploration of the translation and would be happier if they based the work on Douay Rhein’s, but as a companion to a bible study this is an outstanding tool.
