I loved the premise and all about regrets and the different universes that exist. But what is this writing style? It is so un-feeling , non descriptive , so devoid of emotion?

Typical fake dating setting. Huge handsome dark haired mysterious prof agrees to fake date petite green eyed insecure and underconfident grad student who has a sad past
AND THE EYE ROLLING!? I dont think ppl roll their eyes that often!? Quite annoying at this point!
Also all the characters are technically the SAME coz they speak the same way. A bit of a drag to continue but i needed something light..
