Qué grande es la prosa de Gornick. De ella leería, un libro de cocina con la misma emoción que éste o que Apegos Feroces.
Creí que la lectura me ayudaría a repensar la idea del amor romántico pero , como siempre, ella me dio más..

Humans, what creatures we are. This is a wonderful book. It was first published in 1959… and its truly timeless. I first came to know about it when it got banned from US schools.
That’s truly a shame. It’s not about science at all, as I initially thought it would be. It’s not fiction either. It’s about us, all of us.
About who and what we are, what and who we fear, about loss and memory and love. Read it
