I'm... 🤯

Watch me give this book 5 stars for ripping my heart out 3 pages in.

I'm almost done with this book and I'm still as confused and thrown by it as I was when I was just starting it. I can't even tell you if I mean that in a positive or negative way.

"Why does any conquerer destroy the writings of the conquered? If you erase their past, you deny them a future."

It's amazing how relevant this quote still is about a lot of what's been happening around the world, especially in terms of erasing some of the history teachings in certain countries.

I feel like I've read so much and there's still so much left???
(But I'm enjoying it so far!)

So much to process already...
