I am having issues with this book. It is of a different time. I am trying my best to overlook the sexism, but there’s a lot of it, which is irksome. As is the whole Team America (f*ck yeah!) patriotism. It’s disappointing to discover the original Jack Ryan (unlike the 21st century screen versions) was such a tw*t. Still, I will persevere.
