Whitnie is starting Crochet Stitches Visual Encyclopedia: 300 Stitch Patterns, Edgings, and More
Slowly making my way through this book stitch by stitch. I have done about 63 stitches so far, and am still in chapter two. Not a book for someone brand new to crochet. You need at least the basic knowledge of reading patterns, yarn to use, hook size, etc. But for anyone who knows the basics and is looking for a great way to practice and find fun new stitches, this is a fantastic addition to your craft library.

I love anything involving the Doctor. This is no exception. I have not seen a lot of classic Who so I love getting to read about him.

So far, really enjoying the story. The main character is very likable and reminds me of several people I know. I love Kane! Every time he is talked about I smile a little.

So far so good. I love the way fate steps in every time they are about to be caught. It is a great story.

Reading this with my 5 year old. The story idea is cute, very reminiscent of Harry being chosen for Hogwarts, but cute. My daughter thinks it is very unfair we can not go to Unicorn school, and I think I would have to agree. ;)

So this is one of those I have been meaning to read for years and just never have. While I obviously know the basics of the storyline, I am really loving knowing the characters and joining them on their journeys.

So far loving this. I really care for the main character, Kara. I just want to be able to take her in and care for her so she is not so alone.

So far it is very intriguing. I was immediately drawn into the story and curious how all the different leads tie together. My only complaint, and it is one that really made me angry, is her description of the people of Lexington even in the time the book was published (2016). I am a native of Lexington, and the way she wrote about all the people of Lexington is offensive and not true for the vast majority.

So far I am enjoying the story. Keste is an ass, and his possible path is not looking good. But he makes a good antagonist for Siki. The overall antagonist of the book, the invading forces of Mexico, make a perfect faceless villain. Their ideals and backstabbing a stark contrast to the honor and beliefs of the Apache. Can’t wait for the second half of the book to see Siki achieve her goal and find her truth.
