damn this is a long book

i don’t totally feel connected to the characters yet, but that could be bc it’s still the beginning and it’s in 3rd person pov. still going to keep reading though!

the way i want to finish this book so bad rn but im going to just finish it tomorrow morning bc ik i’ll get scared if i read it in the dark 😃

i really love the mutual pining but the juvenile writing is getting hard to look past 😭

the exposition dump in the first chapter was kind of a lot and i’m not totally sure if i like the writing so far but i’m definitely going to keep reading bc it has my favorite tropes and i want to see how it all plays out. sports romance, friends to lovers, fake dating, PINING

i’ve never read a colleen hoover book and i don’t plan to but if i somehow finish my tbr list maybe i’ll try reading one of her books because i want to see what all the controversy is about

i heard this book was pretty dense and hard to read but i don’t really think so. i think the atlas six is harder to read tbh. this might be one of my favorite books i love the angst so far the amount of lines i’ve already highlighted in the first 100 pages is crazy
