I've been super restless this month with starting a new job while juggling school and need a great escape book but haven't quite found it yet because I don't know what I'm in the mood for. This is the first time I've felt this way and it's super weird, so I've just been starting a bunch of books and shows but not being satisfied so I move on to something differently while barely beginning them!

It’s taken me so long to get even halfway and I’m still struggling to finish.

THIS BOOK IS GOING TO GIVE ME SO MUCH ANXIETY. I JUST KNOW IT. I foresee my own heartbreak if I become too invested in these characters 😭

Currently on chapter 12. The book isn't bad! I'm just not in the mood for an angsty-ish book so it's taking me awhile to finish it.

Currently on chapter 26. The reason why it's taking me soooo long to continue is because I'm not a huge fan of Zeus and think Gigi is forgiving him too easily.

I'm trying so hard not to read reviews to see if Val is innocent!

The beginning is a bit slow but someone mentioned that it's like a mix of Jane Austen plus X-Men so I'm willing to stick it out a bit longer. However, if the evil person is the person I'm thinking about I'm going to be very disappointed.

Slow beginning so far, but I'm pushing through.

I'm liking it so far but bracing myself for Joaquin to get hurt and I really, really don't want him to get hurt. Stone better do some serious groveling before Willow and I forgive him.

Kinda slow but pushing onwards!

After reading the first 3 books in the Phoenix Pack series, I had lots of expectations for this one. I'm halfway through and I've felt like this book has just been okay. I'm not overly attached to any character and the plot has barely moved along.

I can already tell from the first page that I love Low Down's personality! I loved how she threatened the men with the disease with something she knew that would hurt them just so that they'd be motivated to keep living. I'm just so disappointed that the men weren't man enough to give her what she really wanted after she saved their lives. Ugh! Men!

It took so long for me to get through the first and second chapters because I had to keep putting it down and taking a break because I cannot handle second hand embarrassment things that the characters do. Now I'm finally on chapter 8 and I've laughed out loud so much but just ran into another scene where I just have to put the book down because I can't handle the embarrassment haha!

I’m loving the relationship between Bo and Half Pint but I’m seeing the signs of Bo aka Lucas making really bad decisions later and hurting Alex and idk if my heart will be able to take it and I feel like I won’t want Alex to end up with him in the end...

The last few chapters literally had my heart in pain for Jaime. Like, I actually felt my chest start to hurt. I can’t believe I’m saying this but I think I like this book just as much as the first one.

I really wanted a true mate book so I decided to pick it up again just to see if I could finish it this time. Just in the first couple of pages I remember why I couldn't go through with it initially: the many spelling mistakes and the writing style was very immature. However, I do like how sweet Caleb is and I like the concept so I'm sticking through.

Currently at Ch 10. Overall I’m liking the book but I’m not a fan of Tru emotionally cheating on Will. She’s flirting with Jake and letting him hold her hand. Plus if she knew how she felt about Jake she would’ve established some lines with him.

Jake is also showing some alarming, subtle traits and I feel like it’s gonna come back and bite Tru later.

Man, that was all types of crazy!
