I am currently about halfway through this book and I am really struggling to find either of these characters at all likable. The FMC is a pick me the MMC is a dick. There has been a substantial amount of slut shaming and I’m really hoping that by the end of this book at least one of these characters develops some sort of redeemable qualities.

I have now officially DNFed this book twice. It’s giving “not like other girls” and insta-love and telling not showing.

I’m not even halfway and this book is peak hallmark ridiculousness and not entirely in a bad way

I might dnf this with one hour to go. This is PAINFUL.

There are still 4 hours in this book and we have endured 3 maybe 4 break ups? Also, I’m going to do a shot everytime someone does something “sexily” - I don’t think I’ll survive.

I'm so mad at how much I enjoyed this book. It's ridiculous, it knows it's ridiculous. And yet...and yet... it also manages to touch on important topics like grief and acceptance and connection. Also, it's duet narration which I didn't know when I first started listening and that made me REALLY happy.

I have nearly DNFed this multiple times because there is a lot of woman-hating slut-shaming "not like other girls" energy that is yucky.

I just finished book 1 and wow this is high drama and borderline annoying.
