The two previous Feeney thrillers have been some of my favorite in the genre. Unfortunately, this book is not going well.

Absolutely, well written, and I am loving all the small insights we get into the author's life, but as such an established reader with focus habits, preferences, and an annotating system, and also works in the library, this book's target appears not to be me.
