Shit is going off the rails baby

Normally I hate protagonists who are idiots but it’s a little amusing in a bleak way to see how fast she’s train wrecking her life through her own stupidity.

Lizzy Bennet saying that crimes of opportunity are planned is so insanely idiotic. It’s literally the exact opposite of a crime of opportunity. I feel like the author should’ve googled types of crimes if they were going to write crime novels 😅.

Not loving it so far. Too many references to Harry Potter and other media for my taste. It pulls me out of the story. I feel like the beginning is rocky. It does a bunch of info dumping and quick passes through recent events so you’re caught up with the current plot and characters. Not my favorite why to be introduced to a novel.
