As I continue this book and get further into it, I’m finding that it is very easy to tell what is going to happen next. The girls wishes seem kind of cliche.

Ash is a 17 year old fairy godmother who has an assignment to grant this high school girl, Kendall, three wishes. At first, Kendall didn't believe Ash and wouldn't cooperate with him. Where I left off, she finally accepts that he is in fact a fairy sent to help her.

I haven't picked the book up in a hot minute, but that's how I realized what I love about this book. You can pick it up and read it whenever. Her extreme emotion due to her word choice continues to wow me.

Today I decided to annotate while I read, and i'm going to do that with all my books from now on. Connecting with her ideas on breaking and recovering makes the book so much more enjoyable.

I read her first book Milk and Honey, and I enjoyed it very much. I really like books written in a poetry style. So far, I love it. Her writing is very expressive.

Interesting book, although it moved kind of slowly. It was intense but I found it hard to pay attention to what was happening. Overall, good book.

So far, it's hard for me to get into the book as it goes back and forth between Pattyn and her sister. It's almost confusing, and hard to keep up with it.

Pattyn is worried for her sister, as she is being abused by her father back home. She is nervous about her father finding out about Ethan, and she fears for his and her own safety.
