I've only made it through the introduction and I'm already wary. I really don't like how it leans into the same tired clichés of every single one of the 3 million "feminist myth retellings" that have been published in recent years.

I've only read the first chapter so far, but it's already been really grim. Not sure if I have the emotional bandwidth to read this right now. At least not with my eyeballs (and due to stupid region locking I can't get the audiobook).

This book is excellent, but dear good it's so long! I feel like I've been listening forever and like I'm barely making any progress 😭

Drew is really insufferable, but otherwise I'm having a good time with this

Kinda disappointing that pretty much the entire chapter on queer women was about how they've been persecuted and penalized for their sexuality. Because I guess that's all there is to say of our history.

Please tell me Drew won't be this one-note mean girl stereotype the entire series. Please.

How is this so much better than all of the big, hyped Greek myth retellings coming out and yet getting no attention whatsoever? It doesn't even have an audiobook recording!
