Having a hard time getting into this story. Debating whether or not to finish or call it a loss. 😕

Just starting this book and all I’m going to say is- whatever is about to happen could have been avoided if she didn’t let strangers into her house. “Hi I just stopped by, I grew up here, can I show my family around inside your house?” 🤨 Sir, no. Now get off my porch. 😂
