Marissa is on page 270 of 309 of Outliers: The Story of Success
I really enjoy the message of this book. At first it was a school assignment but I would definitely love to go deeper into the ideas of this book as well as Gladwell’s other books. My favorite chapter I have to say is “The Three Lessons of Joe Flom” even though each one was very stimulating on its own.

I’ve been meaning to update my progress to show how quickly I’m going through this book. This book is beautiful on so many levels and the way it is described, I can absolutely feel what Craig is feeling.

Marissa is on page 78 of 213 of Go Ask Alice
So far, it’s a continuous increasing plot where you can foresee some of the possible outcomes. But, there are some plot twists that make you think, “Wait what?” It is hard for me though to believe this is based off a real diary but this story does happen to too many people these days.

Marissa is on page 32 of 249 of Macbeth
So far, I’m impressed by Shakespeare’s writing. This is my first time reading Shakespeare and to see what and decipher what he hides underneath metaphors and details is riveting.

Marissa is on page 26 of 233 of The Other Wes Moore: One Name, Two Fates
What the book stands for intrigues me and the structure just adds to that. To hear the real stories of both Wes Moore’s, it shows that different paths make you a different person.

Marissa is on page 156 of 328 of Eleanor & Park
I’m in love with how Rowell switches between their point of views. I adore Park and Eleanor’s building relationship and seeing it come into fruition with them eventually dating. The wording of the book is also very well done as I feel I can really understand what Eleanor is experiencing and Park is feeling

So far so good, I like how Thomas progresses and his easy relationships that he has with other characters. It’s plot is intriguing right now and I’m glad as the preview in the last book was very interesting.

Marissa is on page 146 of 394 of Runebinder (The Runebinder Chronicles, #1)
I actually started this book last month but am just now adding it to “Reading”. The book so far is intriguing and realistic. The way the main character, Tenn sees his world is realistic as in the book the world is going through chaos. As of now, this book could go in many directions. I know this from the plot and from today realizing that there is not just a 1.5 book but also a sequel.

Marissa is on page 200 of 390 of Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe (Aristotle and Dante, #1)
As I’m reading the book, I know it will become one of my all time favorites. As a person who doesn’t have a great way with people this book speaks to me. The way Aristotle talks about life, his thoughts, and feelings. I find it very similar to my own train of thought. And the way the book is structured makes it easy to keep on reading and reading. It’s not full of suspense but the words make me keep wanting more.

Marissa is on page 16 of 362 of The Scorch Trials (The Maze Runner, #2)
I’m very intrigued by this book and I loved the first book, the Maze Runner and I love the main character, Thomas and the way he thinks about situations. At this point, I just hope that Thomas and Teresa stay strong friends and that there isn’t an unnecessary romance plot.
