End of Clue 6 - see the problem is exactly that: our protags aren't scared. The writing reflects that, it's very matter of fact. So then why should i be scared?
Still we got some tension at the end, i appreciated that. It got my heart beating for sure!

Le frère veut pas qu'on sache qu'il existe et après il 1) attaque des bateaux 2) joue au chat et à la souris avec, alors qu'il a tt à fait le matos pour fuir entièrement sans qu'on sache s'il a même existé.

Les quelques derniers chapitres étaient moins soporifiques que les premiers : on espère que ça va continuer comme ça...

RTNY 2 - Masterpiece, again
One thing i dislike with Talbot's inking is the weird white part of the bottom of the Turtles's faces... it bothered me in the "Mikey in Japan" ep, and here as well ngl.
Other than that ouuuuugh it's so good it's so so good, i had forgotten about Zog and boy did he make me cry 😭 that was weirdly heartbreaking and yeah... the switch from his death to the Shredders reveal... amazing

Return to New York 1 - Masterpiece
Gosh ! Wow !
I'll say, the good thing about having them not work on the same issues prior to RTNY in this vol is that you can really tell who did what here. Scrumptious.
The storytelling is stellar and I can't find the words for how COOL this issue is

I love that you can really tell apart Eastman's and Laird's styles. Very cool.
I enjoyed the fact that Casey had more screen time, but in doing that the turtles get sidelined and that's a bit sad ú_ù

The duality of the soundless Leo strips, but shaded and toned, while the panel at the end is only inked and has dialogue, the irony of it all, it's beautiful, it's genius, it's perfection.

The exploration of Splinter's abilities beyond physical is really interesting and it's so fun to see the younger Turtles, without their characteristic weapons. You can feel how far they've come i love it

It's bittersweet and beautiful, but feels... a tad too quick regarding the plot

I was surprised that the timeskip of SIX YEARS felt less jarring than the ones of 1 year between each Era 1 book lol
The tone is mega tense and darker than previous Era 2 books. I'm nervous. But also excited.
Please let Steris be safe.

8e histoire : la structure était fun, mais encore gâchée par le narcissisme d’Arsène

Histoire 7: ptdr il a cru faire son Monte Cristo, mais il n'a été que le dindon de la farce
Encore une fois, aucune tension, mais la chute rend ça intéressant

Histoire 6 : celle-là est très chouette mais il manque quand même quelques infos sur les motivations de Lupin, à chaque fois à part dans l'histoire 5

Histoire 5: sympa mais la fin retombe comme un soufflé

4e histoire: okay celle-là était vraiment chouette

3rd story: Ganimard is such a fraud wow 💀 "better investigator than Sherlock Holmes" MY ASS

histoire 2 terminée : c'est quand même pas terrible, hein

Histoire 1: pas transcendant, j'avoue.
L’enchâssement des narrations est particulièrement mauvais
