Probably the most mixed quality Saunders book I've read. Mostly good, but the travelog about Dubai was tough to get through. Probably the strangest part is that a lot of these aren't essays at all. Many pieces are pretty much experimental short fiction.

Saunders is so clever.

Man, I've heard this one is difficult and it is. Still fun so far tho.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels off calling grown women "girlfriends."

My mans just called urinals "porcelain gargoyles."

I can't imagine what it'd be like to see the world like this. So much thought over all this minutiae.

I don't care for how the author writes for Dewey's thoughts. It's weird and not funny.
