Help I relate too much to the narrator 😓

Nervous because my bf listened to the audiobook and said the ending was super disappointing but the story was so enjoyable it didn’t matter much. I don’t like when authors really fail the ending. To me it ruins the book. But the reviews are so good?! Conflicted.

This book came out the same year as “can’t spell treason without tea” which has a very similar plot and I would say the writing of this book compared to that one is extremely equal. Neither is better than the other. However in some online book reviews I’ve seen legends and lattes rated much higher than treason without tea and I can’t understand why. If you like cozy fantasy I definitely recommend both.
