Each of the main characters in my book are facing the same challenge. They are all being accused of murdering a boy named Simon. They were all in the same detention room as Simon, and all had motives for killing him. He had secrets about them that they didn’t want to get out into the public.

Delinquent: showing or characterized by a tendency to commit crime, particularly minor crime.

Absent-mindedly: lost in thought and unaware of one's surroundings or actions

There is a character in the book, One of us is Lying, who’s name is Cooper. Cooper’s has different goals in the book. One of his goals is to make it to the MLB. He is a very good athlete, and likes baseball as one of his spots. Cooper is like the jock in the school. All the girls like him, and want him to be their boyfriend.

Pip was threatened by a prisoner to get some food, and a file. He was told if he didn’t do it, then he would be killed.
