In what I read today, the teacher got mad at a student because she already knew how to read.

Currently the setting of to kill a mockingbird is in the country, the current main character lives on a homestead rather then in the city, on page 4 it said he built his homestead 40 miles from Town.

T-ray is more on the tougher and sturborn side, for example he gets really mad and curses at his daughter when she try’s to show him the bee in her room and when they get there the bee is gone. He also will get mad at his dog if his dog uses the bathroom inside even if it’s a accident.

I chose to read this book because most of my friends have read it. So far I don’t think much of this book, to me a book is a book. Yes, because I only thought it would be a long book.

The conflicts it the book are mostly character vs self, and character vs society. One big conflict is there is a war going on, and the enemy group invaded there village. A nother conflict is they don’t have food, or a lot of money, and no one is selling food because it is scarce. This past week i reed 40pages.

So far this week I have reed 5 pages, in this beginning chapter we were introduced to ms.fryspy’s children, and were were told about her husband and how he died.
