The main character is intensely unlikable, not sure if I can finish this.

This is extremely well written and researched

Halfway through, this may be a DNF for me. It's poorly written and full of cringe worthy dialog. My main issue is that the female main character is an undeveloped shell: extremely passive with very little personality besides codependency.
