Night hoops is a really great book and I give this book a 5 out of 5 it's great and sad sometimes although it didn't make me cry. this book is about nick and his love of basketball and how his Trent his troubled neighbor changed his life for the worst or for the better you tell me. this book take place mostly at his house and at the bball court this book was enetertaining and it made me laugh and cry max check it

why is Nick doing hanging around the Dawsons?

Because he sees something different in him not like the other bullies maybe he's acting like a bad character so the Dawsons will like him.

I give this book a 3/5 this book takes place in school but he might write his poems at home this kid isn't a normal kid for what seems like 1st or 2nd grade he like writing, and poetry this book is mostly sad but it kinda gets funny by the way the kid writes. this book is mostly about his love of poetry and his dog I think the author did his job really well it was sad but at the same time funny I liked it.

This book get's a 5/5 I loved this book this book takes place in a couple of different places such as his school his house and his best friend Rowley's house. This book made me laugh and this book is supposed to it's really funny one of this books strengths is that its funny and may be relate able to some kids. Like I said this book is great and I loved it you guys really should check it out

Setting: Home this kid is really lazy if I haven’t mentioned that yet and he is very unathletic all he wants to do is stay inside and play video games but with a active mom that’s not happening so he ends up getting out of the house a lot more than he wants to but with his luck his summer really sucks every activity he tries ends up going wrong.

In this book the protagonist he kinda acts care free and has other people take care of his needs which he calls his friends he got new shoes and took care of them on his own which surprised me which is a Contrast and Contradiction
