Soooo not only is it because men hated women but they paid sexual perverts (prickers) to molest and assault women. These men were PAID to come into the villages, strip and shave women, inspect bodies for damning marks (moles!), and “prick” the accused with RETRACTABLE blades… because witches don’t bleed when stuck! And this was known and nothing was done to stop it
